1N4148 vs 1N4007

1N4148 is a fast switching diode (trr ~4 ns) for high-speed circuits. 1N4007 is a general rectifier (1000 V, 1 A), slower but robust for AC rectification. Use 1N4148 for signal-level, 1N4007 for power-level.

US1M vs M7

US1M (ultra-fast, 50–75 ns) is suited for SMPS. M7 is robust for adapters/chargers. Prefer US1M for efficiency, M7 for durability.

Zener Diode Selection

The 1N4727A–1N4761A series covers 3–75 V, 1 W. Lower values for references, higher values for surge protection.

Triac vs MOSFET

Triac BT134 (600 V, 4 A RMS, 40 A surge) is good for AC load control (lighting, heating, motors). MOSFETs are better for high-speed DC and PWM. For AC → Triac; for DC → MOSFET.
